The final electoral rolls for Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, have been released, showing a total of 27,30,603 voters, including 14,86,874 male voters, 12,43,611 female voters, and 118 third-gender individuals. This increase of over 1.5 lakh voters was achieved through the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, which began on October 27, 2025. The draft rolls published on January 6, 2026, had recorded 25,80,502 voters. The revision process included door-to-door visits by booth-level officers to ensure accurate voter registration and resolve discrepancies. Voters can verify their names and details at designated centers from April 10 to April 16 and also online. The district magistrate has engaged with political party representatives to share the final electoral data.
