IIM Shillong, located in Meghalaya, India, celebrated its 17th Annual Convocation, awarding degrees to 469 graduates. This included 395 from the Post Graduate Programme (PGP), 54 from the Post Graduate Programme for Executives (PGPEx), and 15 from the Post Graduate Programme for Working Executives (PGPWE). Additionally, five scholars received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees. The ceremony featured notable speakers such as Anoop Mehta, President of Bharat Diamond Bourse, and Vijay Kedia, Managing Director of Kedia Securities, who highlighted the importance of adaptability and ethical leadership in today's rapidly evolving landscape. They encouraged graduates to embrace challenges and contribute to India's growth through initiatives like Atmanirbhar Bharat and Digital India. Professor Naliniprava Tripathy, Director (I/C) of IIM Shillong, presented the annual report, showcasing the Institute's progress in global collaborations and upcoming events, including the 11th Pan-IIM World Management Conference 2026. She urged graduates to uphold the values of the Institute as ambassadors.
