In a disturbing incident in Mangolpuri, outer Delhi, the body of a 35-year-old woman was found stuffed inside a storage box in a paying guest accommodation on April 7. The woman, who had visible strangulation marks and a forehead injury, was identified as a local resident. Police arrested three men, identified as Surendra alias Bobby, Joginder, and Deepak (22), who were present at the facility during the incident. Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim was in a relationship with Deepak, who is also married. After the two spent about an hour together in a room, the PG owner alerted the police due to suspicious circumstances. A murder case has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and authorities are exploring various angles, including potential sexual harassment and any disputes leading to the murder.
