The Election Commission of India has reported that teams have seized over ₹650 crore in potential voter inducements across five poll-bound states and union territories. Notably, West Bengal has emerged as the state with the highest seizures, accounting for nearly half of the total, with ₹319 crore reported. Other states include Tamil Nadu with ₹170 crore, Assam with ₹97 crore, Kerala with ₹58 crore, and Puducherry with ₹7 crore.
