While the south will bask in mild and sunny weather, northern parts of the UK, including Scotland, Northern Ireland, and northern England, will face the brunt of Storm Dave, bringing 90mph winds, heavy rain, and snow. The storm is expected to cause significant disruptions, particularly from Saturday night into Sunday morning, with severe weather warnings in effect. Dale emphasized that Monday will be the best day for outdoor activities, with temperatures potentially hitting 17°C to 18°C in the south. As the storm weakens further south, conditions will improve, making Monday ideal for beach outings or countryside adventures. Following the holiday, the Met Office predicts temperatures could rise to 21°C in some areas by Wednesday, indicating a warm start to the week.
