B Srinivas Rao, a senior advocate of the Andhra Pradesh High Court, tragically lost his life when a concrete mixer truck fell onto his BMW car at the Keesara toll plaza in Kanchikacharla block, NTR district, on Saturday evening. The incident occurred around 4:15 PM on the busy Hyderabad–Vijayawada highway, following the truck's suspected brake failure while turning near the toll plaza. The impact completely crushed Rao's luxury vehicle. He was returning to Hyderabad after participating in Bar Council elections in Amaravati earlier that day. Emergency services used heavy machinery to retrieve his body and the wrecked car. Traffic was partially disrupted as authorities worked at the scene, and they are currently examining CCTV footage to investigate potential negligence or overloading that may have contributed to the accident.
