Nearly ten months after the tragic Air India AI171 crash on June 12, 2025, families of the victims are reaching out to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for answers regarding the incident. The crash, which occurred shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, resulted in the deaths of 260 individuals, including passengers, crew members, and people on the ground. In a letter sent on Saturday, around 30 families urged Modi to facilitate the release of the aircraft’s Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) and black box data, emphasizing their need for clarity about the crash's causes.
