A delegation of Congress MLAs from Karnataka is set to meet the party's high command in New Delhi to discuss the upcoming cabinet reshuffle. Karnataka minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar stated that all MLAs have the right to request ministerial positions, and the high command will make the final decisions. The group, which includes senior MLAs like TB Jayachandra, is advocating for the inclusion of legislators who have served more than three terms. This meeting comes as the Congress government approaches its three-year mark in office, amid internal discussions regarding leadership roles. Currently, there are two vacant cabinet positions due to the resignation of B Nagendra and the sacking of KN Rajanna. The reshuffle is seen as a critical moment that could impact the power dynamics within the party, especially concerning the chief minister's position, as some members favor a reshuffle while others prioritize leadership decisions.
