Mukesh Mangal, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, confirmed that all Indian seafarers in the region are safe and no incidents involving Indian-flagged vessels have been reported in the last 24 hours. The Directorate General of Shipping (DG Shipping) has been actively monitoring the situation, handling over 5,600 calls and 12,000 emails since its activation.
