In a tragic incident in Faridabad, India, a 28-year-old man named Nikhil allegedly took his own life during a video call with his girlfriend on Sunday evening. Nikhil, who resided in Jawahar Colony, had been in a relationship with a woman from Sanjay Colony for approximately five years, with marriage discussions between their families already underway. However, the situation took a dire turn when the woman recently refused to marry him, reportedly causing him significant emotional distress. Around 5 pm, after exchanging messages on WhatsApp, Nikhil made a video call to her during which he allegedly hanged himself while still on camera. The girlfriend immediately informed Nikhil's friends, who rushed to his home only to find him hanging from a noose inside his room. At the time, he was alone, as his mother was in Ujjain and his father had passed away a few years prior. The police have taken the body for post-mortem examination and are currently investigating the case further.
