Hazarika expressed concern about Owaisi's divisive comments, stating they could jeopardize Assam's social harmony and cultural identity. He emphasized the BJP government's commitment to safeguarding the interests and heritage of indigenous people in Assam, asserting that the future of the state's youth must be secured. Hazarika concluded by stating that the party's focus remains on development, preservation of Assamese identity, and ensuring stability ahead of the upcoming elections.
