An Annual Action Plan for 2026-27, with an allocation of ₹11.60 crore, was also approved. The state has received the 'Excellence in Blood Donation Award' from the Centre for two consecutive years, and a blood centre in Kurukshetra was recognized as the best in the state. Currently, Haryana has 154 blood centres, including 34 government and 120 private facilities, with blood and its components provided free of cost in government hospitals.
