The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to announce the Class 10 Board Examination results for 2026 by mid-April, with around 25 lakh students eagerly awaiting their scores. This year, CBSE has implemented a two-phase examination system, allowing students to retake up to three subjects in the second session scheduled for May 2026. The Class 10 exams concluded on March 11, while Class 12 exams ended on April 10. Over 43 lakh students participated in the board examinations, with 25 lakh in Class 10 and 18.5 lakh in Class 12. Students can check their results on official websites such as cbse.gov.in and through DigiLocker, which offers secure access to digital marksheets. Additionally, CBSE has set up an online platform for schools to upload marks, operational from April 8 to April 17, 2026. Following the results, students who do not pass in one or two subjects will have the opportunity to take compartment exams, with details to be released post-results.
