Navdeep Rinwa, the Chief Electoral Officer of Uttar Pradesh, announced that the final electoral roll will be published on April 10, 2023. This publication is part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, which aims to create an accurate and error-free voter list ahead of the elections. During a recent visit to Mathura, Rinwa reviewed the progress of the SIR campaign with senior district officials, including District Magistrate Chandra Prakash Singh and Deputy District Election Officer Pankaj Kumar Verma. He emphasized the importance of proper data verification and timely completion of processes by electoral registration officers. Additionally, Rinwa instructed the district election officer to hold a meeting with all recognized political parties on April 10 to provide them with copies of the final electoral roll. Receipts confirming the distribution of these rolls must also be submitted to his office.
