Haryana Governor Ashim Kumar Ghosh addressed the 35th convocation ceremony of Kurukshetra University (KU), urging the youth to embrace the vision of 'Viksit Bharat 2047' as a national mission. He highlighted the pivotal role of young people in India's transformation into a developed nation, encouraging them to become job creators rather than job seekers. The ceremony celebrated the achievements of nearly 3,000 students who graduated with various degrees, including 112 PhD recipients and 89 gold medalists for academic excellence. Ghosh also praised the university for securing an A++ grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and receiving a Platinum Award from the Haryana government for its effective implementation of the National Education Policy, 2020. Additionally, an honorary Doctor of Laws (LLD) degree was awarded to Supreme Court Judge Justice Rajesh Bindal for his contributions to law and justice.
