A joint rally held in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its alliance partner, the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD), has set the tone for the upcoming assembly elections in 2027. Adityanath highlighted that over ₹3.16 lakh crore has been disbursed to cane farmers in the last nine years, and he announced the inauguration of development projects worth more than ₹951 crore. He also stated that the state's focus on empowering farmers has transformed Uttar Pradesh, claiming that law and order issues have significantly improved. Chaudhary spoke about the employment fair aimed at providing local job opportunities and collateral-free loans for aspiring entrepreneurs, asserting that the recruitment process is now merit-based, eliminating previous corrupt practices. This rally underscores the strategic alliance between the BJP and RLD as they prepare for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, with a focus on addressing farmer and community issues.
