PEMRA cited violations of its regulations and demanded a response from Geo News within 14 days. Geo News Managing Director Azhar Abbas defended the channel's decision, emphasizing the importance of celebrating the work of legendary artists like Bhosle. Asha Bhosle passed away on April 12 due to multi-organ failure at the age of 92, and her funeral was attended by numerous prominent figures from the Indian film industry.
