Ground inspections revealed hazardous conditions, including incomplete roadworks and missing streetlights, particularly along the 1-km stretch from Gole Market to Kapoorthala. Residents report navigating dangerous situations due to open manholes and poorly maintained surfaces, with some areas experiencing significant traffic disruptions. Another project in Vibhuti Khand, valued at ₹40 crore (roughly $4.8 million USD), also shows slow progress, raising quality concerns about materials used. Despite inspections by municipal officials, the situation remains unchanged, with many sites lacking adequate labor and oversight. Local residents are calling for investigations into the stalled projects, expressing frustration over ongoing inconveniences and safety risks.
