An Indian Army contingent has departed for Egypt to participate in the fourth edition of the India–Egypt Joint Special Forces Exercise Cyclone-IV, scheduled from April 9 to 17, 2026. The Ministry of Defence highlighted that this exercise continues the trend of deepening military cooperation between the two nations. The contingent consists of 25 personnel from elite Special Forces units, who will engage in training alongside their Egyptian counterparts in a realistic operational environment. This exercise follows the successful execution of its previous edition, which took place in India, showcasing the ongoing collaboration between the Indian and Egyptian military forces.
