The Miami Dolphins have had a quiet offseason regarding the tight end position, signing Ben Sims and re-signing Greg Dulcich while letting Julian Hill depart in free agency. With the need for more depth, FOX Sports' Ralph Vacchiano suggested a trade for Luke Musgrave, a 25-year-old tight end from the Green Bay Packers, during the 2026 NFL Draft. Musgrave, who was selected in the second round (No. 42 overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft, has played 35 games for the Packers, recording 65 receptions for 649 yards and one touchdown. Vacchiano believes that acquiring Musgrave for a fifth-round pick (No. 151 overall) would provide new quarterback Malik Willis with a familiar target as the Dolphins look to assess his potential as their future quarterback. While Musgrave's addition may not drastically improve the Dolphins' offense, a change of environment could help him reach his potential.
