Trip.com has partnered with SMAC (SM Advantage Card) to enhance the rewards program for its members, enabling them to earn points on travel bookings. Members will receive 1 SMAC Point for every ₱250 spent on hotel and flight bookings through Trip.com. Points will be credited within 60 working days after the completion of the booking. This collaboration expands SMAC's travel ecosystem, which already includes partnerships with Philippine Airlines and AirAsia. SMAC members can now access a network of over 1.5 million hotels and 640 airlines across 220 countries, as well as enjoy various attractions and tour products. Patrick Cua, COO of SMAC, emphasized that this partnership strengthens SM’s broader ecosystem strategy, connecting retail, banking, property, and lifestyle services to enhance customer experiences. SM is the Philippines' largest retail operation, with significant interests in banking through BDO Unibank and China Banking Corporation, as well as in property development through SM Prime Holdings, Inc.
