Xi highlighted the need for nations to respect each other's borders and national sovereignty, asserting that this is essential for the survival and infrastructure protection of Gulf states. He also stressed the importance of adhering to the international rule of law, urging countries to uphold the UN Charter and the norms of international relations. Furthermore, Xi pointed out that prioritizing security is vital for regional development, advocating for a balanced approach that fosters both security and growth. This proposal was discussed during Xi's meeting with Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, during his official visit to Beijing.
