Oriental Rail Infrastructure has announced the acquisition of a ₹1.57 crore order from the Rail Coach Factory (RCF) located in Kapurthala, Punjab, India. The contract entails the manufacturing, supply, and installation of 25 sets of seats and berths for LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) coaches. Payment terms stipulate that 95% will be released upon submission of an inspection certificate, with the remaining 5% payable after the consignee's acceptance of the goods. The company emphasized that there are no related party transactions involved in this order. In its recent financial report, Oriental Rail Infrastructure recorded an impressive 83.77% increase in consolidated net profit, reaching ₹13.82 crore for the third quarter of FY26, compared to ₹7.52 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. Additionally, revenue from operations saw a 10.31% year-on-year growth, totaling ₹168.57 crore. Despite these positive financial results, shares of Oriental Rail Infrastructure dropped by 0.40% to ₹138.55 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
