Tina Szymczak, executive director of the Windsor-Essex Family Network, emphasizes the importance of community engagement, stating that the event aims to help people feel connected and informed about local hobbies and organizations. The fair will include unique offerings, such as a young man's creative project, 'The Slug Apocalypse,' where attendees can request custom slug drawings. Admission is free, with donations encouraged to support the Windsor-Essex Family Network, and the event is backed by several community organizations, including the Chasing Hazel Foundation.
