A tragic incident unfolded at the Ghazipur poultry market in East Delhi, where 34-year-old Ranjeet Kumar Pandit, originally from Godda, Jharkhand, was killed following a drunken brawl with his co-workers. The police received a report of his death at 5:20 AM on April 9 after he was brought to LBS Hospital. Initial investigations revealed injury marks on Ranjeet's head and blood stains in his temporary accommodation. Two co-workers, Mohammad Mohfiz from Saharsa, Bihar, and Moolchandra from Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh, were arrested after inconsistencies in Mohfiz's account raised suspicions. The fight reportedly began over a mobile phone, leading to a physical confrontation where Moolchandra struck Ranjeet with a wooden object, resulting in fatal injuries. Both the weapon and the victim's mobile phone have been recovered by the police, who are continuing their investigation.
