During a review meeting on the Nashik Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) case, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated that cases involving religious conversion would not be tolerated under any circumstances. The meeting assessed the ongoing investigations, which have led to nine registered cases, including one at Deolali camp police station and eight at Mumbai Naka. Fadnavis commended the Nashik Police for their initial efforts and urged them to pursue the investigation with equal determination. The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has taken custody of two suspects, Safi Shaikh and Raza Memon, for interrogation related to the alleged forced conversion incident. Additionally, a Fact Finding Committee has been established to investigate the allegations of religious conversion and sexual harassment linked to the TCS office. TCS CEO K Krithivasan announced that the company is conducting an internal investigation with the help of external experts from Deloitte and Trilegal, while assuring that their Nashik unit continues to operate without prior complaints related to the allegations.
