The Class 10 board examination results for Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) schools in Dakshina Kannada district, Karnataka, India, showcased significant improvements over the previous academic year. Fr Johnson L Sequeira, principal of Lourdes Central School, emphasized that the overall performance exceeded last year's results, despite the difficulties in mathematics. Notably, schools like St Aloysius Gonzaga School and Mount Carmel Central School achieved a 100% pass rate, with numerous students earning distinctions. The early release of results allows students to proceed with their admission and academic planning without delay. This year marks the introduction of a second examination for Class 10 students, scheduled for May, providing an additional opportunity for those who did not pass the first attempt to improve their scores.
