During a public meeting in Nidadavolu, East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu stated that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is committed to promoting public awareness for securing 33% reservation for women in legislative bodies. He criticized the Indian National Congress for obstructing previous attempts to pass a Constitution Amendment Bill aimed at increasing women's representation in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies. Furthermore, he addressed the issue of waste management in Andhra Pradesh, claiming that the previous YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government mismanaged the situation.
