Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced that no complaints have been lodged regarding allegations of sexual harassment and religious coercion against its BPO staff in Nashik, Maharashtra, India. This statement follows Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran's announcement of a high-level probe into the matter. TCS CEO K Krithivasan emphasized that preliminary reviews of systems and records show no complaints were reported through the company's ethics or Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) channels. Nida Khan, a process associate at the BPO, has been suspended and is currently the subject of police investigation for allegedly making objectionable comments about a Hindu deity. TCS clarified that Khan does not hold a leadership position and is not responsible for recruitment. The company has enlisted Deloitte and Trilegal to assist in the internal investigation, which will be overseen by an independent committee chaired by Keki Mistry, a TCS independent director. Meanwhile, the Nashik police are actively searching for Khan, who is reportedly in Mumbai, and have taken her husband into custody for questioning. The Anti-Terrorism Squad is also investigating two other staff members for possible links to terrorist activities.
