This update is available for both iOS and Android users and introduces a 0-minutes option in the time management settings, allowing users to set a limit that effectively blocks access to the Shorts feed. Previously, the minimum limit was set at 15 minutes, which many users found insufficient. By accessing the Time management section in the app's Settings, users can activate this feature, and once it's enabled, tapping on the Shorts tab will show a 'time limit reached' message, preventing further access. This change comes as a response to user feedback regarding the overwhelming nature of Shorts content.
