The Huskers clinched the series, showcasing their offensive prowess by scoring a season-high 17 runs. The scoring began in the third inning with two runs, followed by five runs in the fourth, and culminating in a remarkable 10-run fifth inning. Hannah Coor and Jesse Farrell each hit a grand slam, marking the first time Nebraska had two grand slams in a game since 2022. Both players finished with four RBIs, while Kacie Hoffmann batted 2-for-4 with three RBIs. Nebraska's pitching was also effective, with Alexis Jensen (18-2) earning the win after throwing four innings, allowing only one run.
