The Nebraska Cornhuskers men's basketball team has announced the transfer of Boden Kapke, a 6-foot-11 center from Boston College. During the past season, Kapke played an average of 26.8 minutes per game, contributing 10.6 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. He distinguished himself as a strong performer in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), particularly in league matches where he averaged 12.1 points and 6.3 rebounds. His standout performance included a career-high 25 points against Virginia Tech. This acquisition comes as Nebraska addresses the loss of senior Reink Mast and junior Berke Buyuktuncel, who together averaged 19.8 points and 11.3 rebounds last season. In addition to Kapke, Nebraska has also secured Belmont transfer Sam Orme, who was a second-team All-Missouri Valley selection, further enhancing the team's frontcourt options.
