On April 18, thousands of women and young girls gathered in central Tehran for the 'Daughters Devoted to Iran' rally, where they voiced strong anti-US and anti-Israel sentiments. The event, held at Enghelab Square, coincided with Iran's 'Girls Day' and the birth anniversary of the Prophet's daughter. Participants pledged allegiance to Iran's leadership and expressed their readiness to defend the nation, with one young girl declaring, 'Death to America.' This rally is part of a series of pro-government demonstrations that have emerged following the killing of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Hosseini Khamenei on February 28 due to US-Israeli strikes. In contrast to these gatherings, anti-government protests have faced severe crackdowns. Concurrently, the US has imposed sanctions on seven commanders of Iranian-aligned militias in Iraq, accusing them of orchestrating attacks against US interests. The sanctions aim to deter violence from these groups, which are linked to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
