Two sanitation workers tragically lost their lives, and a third was hospitalized in critical condition after inhaling toxic fumes while cleaning a sewer line in the Ferozepur Jhirka area of Nuh district, Haryana, India, on Tuesday night. The incident occurred around 10:30 PM near Ambedkar Chowk on National Highway 248A. The deceased workers were identified as Abdul Kalam from Uttar Pradesh and Kalwa from Palwal, Haryana. According to police reports, the first worker entered the sewer and did not resurface, prompting a second worker to enter for a rescue, who also became incapacitated. A third worker raised the alarm, leading to a rescue operation where two workers were found dead, and the third was rushed to the Civil Hospital at Mandi Kheda.
