Eicher Motors, the parent company of Royal Enfield, announced the launch of its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, which led to a 2% increase in its share price to ₹7,311 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The motorcycle, priced at ₹2.79 lakh (approximately $3,400 USD), is available for booking starting Friday, with deliveries set to begin in May 2026. The Flying Flea C6 is designed to be agile and resilient, featuring a top speed of 115 kmph and advanced safety features such as lean-angle sensing ABS and traction control. It is powered by a 3.91 kWh battery and offers various charging options. Eicher Motors has emphasized the motorcycle's advanced technology and rider-centric design, aiming to provide a seamless riding experience. Despite a recent decline in stock performance over the month, the company has seen a 35% increase in share value over the past year, reflecting strong long-term growth potential.
