On Thursday night, Rahul Chaudhary, a 35-year-old property dealer from Raj Nagar Extension, was shot five times by an unidentified assailant while he was outside a dhaba on Delhi Meerut Road. After collecting ₹75,000 from a group in Modinagar, Chaudhary was shot as he started his vehicle. Despite sustaining serious injuries, including a bullet wound to his jaw, he managed to drive 18 kilometers to a hospital in Ghaziabad.
