Indian Air Force (IAF) Chief Amar Preet Singh has arrived in the United States for an official visit focused on enhancing the defence partnership between India and the U.S. He was welcomed by Vinay Mohan Kwatra, India's Ambassador to the U.S., who emphasized the importance of this visit in strengthening bilateral military ties. This visit is part of a series of high-level exchanges that highlight the growing strategic convergence between the two nations. Notably, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command Commander Samuel J. Paparo visited India in February to bolster cooperation on shared security interests. Additionally, U.S. Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Elbridge Colby visited India in March, where he co-chaired the U.S.-India Defence Policy Group meeting with India's Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh. These discussions build upon the U.S.-India Major Defence Partnership framework established in October 2025, which aims to deepen military collaboration.
