Frederick, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, has a diverse background in athletic performance, having served as director of athlete performance at Gardner-Webb University and Belmont University. Nored expressed confidence in Frederick's skills, stating that the college basketball landscape is increasingly complex and requires talented problem-solvers. Frederick holds a degree in kinesiology from Samford University and a master's in exercise physiology from Mississippi College, where he worked with multiple sports teams, including basketball. His addition is part of Nored's efforts to build a strong coaching staff, following the recent hires of Jalen Courtney-Williams and Emerson Kampen. This strategic move aims to enhance the operational capabilities and success of the Butler basketball program.
