During his visit to Ranchi, Jharkhand, Tejashwi Yadav (RJD national working president) asserted that the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is a significant political force in the state that must not be overlooked. He noted that in the previous assembly elections, the RJD contested seven seats, winning four, and suggested that with more allocated seats, the party could have achieved even greater success. Yadav emphasized the need to strengthen the party's organizational structure, instructing the state president to form teams to tour districts and hold rallies. He also highlighted the RJD's participation in the INDIA alliance in Jharkhand and mentioned the party's plans to contest elections in other states, including an alliance with the Left Democratic Front (LDF) in Kerala. Furthermore, he criticized the ruling alliance in Bihar for winning elections through alleged misuse of state resources and money power, noting that the RJD received 1.90 crore votes, an increase of 20 lakh from the previous election.
