Brett Lee, the former Australian cricketer, fondly remembers his collaboration with Asha Bhosle, who passed away at the age of 92 due to multi-organ failure in Mumbai. The duo worked together in 2007 to produce the hit song 'You’re the One for Me', which became a chart success. Lee, in his autobiography 'My Life: Brett Lee', described Bhosle as a 'lovely gentle woman with a wonderful sense of humour' and an icon of Indian music. Their meeting occurred during the ICC Champions Trophy, where Lee was excited to work with Bhosle after being informed about the project involving international artists. Despite a busy cricket schedule, he managed to record the song with her, recalling the fun they had during the shoot. Four months later, Bhosle gifted Lee a compilation album with a personal message, which he cherishes. Bhosle's last rites are scheduled to take place at Shivaji Park in Mumbai.
