The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an advisory regarding photograph mismatches for candidates of the Common Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG 2026). The examination is set to take place from May 13 to May 31, 2026. Candidates who submitted identity documents that do not match their application photographs have a chance to correct this issue. The correction window is open from April 7 to April 10, 2026, allowing candidates to upload a signed and attested certificate along with a recent photograph. This photograph must be certified by the candidate's school principal or headmaster. If unable to obtain this verification, candidates can alternatively submit attestation from a Gazetted officer, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA), or Member of Parliament (MP). The NTA emphasizes the importance of completing this process to avoid complications on exam day and encourages candidates to stay updated via the official NTA website.
