The Ministry of Ayush is set to celebrate 'World Homoeopathy Day 2026' on April 10 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, featuring a two-day interactive forum. This event will highlight advancements in homoeopathy research, public health initiatives, and policy developments. Organized by the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, the forum aims to strengthen scientific validation and ethical standards while integrating homoeopathy into mainstream healthcare systems. Special sessions will focus on homoeopathy's role in preventive healthcare, management of lifestyle diseases, and its potential to reduce reliance on conventional medications. The theme, 'Homoeopathy for Sustainable Health', underscores the system's holistic and environmentally responsible approach to healthcare, aligning with global priorities like Universal Health Coverage and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3 on Good Health and Well-being. With 3.45 lakh registered homoeopathy doctors and numerous educational institutions and research centers, India is positioned as a leader in promoting traditional medicine systems.
