Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has released the admit cards for the School Entrance Test (SET) 2026, which registered candidates can download starting April 11, 2026. The exams will be conducted from April 22 to 26, 2026, for admissions to Class 9 at the Central Hindu Boys School and Class 11 at the Central Hindu Girls School. For Class 9, there are only 76 seats available, while Class 11 has limited seats across various streams: 54 for Maths, 27 for Biology, 14 for Arts, and 13 for Commerce for boys, and 13 for Maths, 13 for Biology, and 15 for Arts for girls. Candidates must achieve a minimum of 33% marks in Class 10 to be eligible for Class 11 admission, with a reduced threshold of 25% for SC/ST/DIVYANG candidates. The provisional answer key will be available on May 4, with the final answer key and results expected by mid-June. The counselling process for Class 9 is anticipated to start on June 20, while Class 11 counselling will begin around July 1, closing admissions by July 15.
