Nagpur University (NU) has initiated the relocation of its examination section to vacate two floors for the Laxminarayan Innovation Technological University (LITU) as part of its expansion. This decision comes during the peak summer exam season, prompting a major internal reshuffle. Key operations, including the spot valuation centre, have been moved to the old administrative building opposite Maharajbagh, while on-screen evaluation is being conducted in the new administrative building. To minimize disruption, the remaining sections will be relocated in phases, with Vice-chancellor Manali Kshirsagar stating that the process is under a tight deadline of April 10. Initially, NU planned to secure a new building from the state government before vacating the existing one, but has now opted for a staggered approach due to space constraints in the old building. University officials acknowledge that completing the relocation by the deadline may be challenging due to the ongoing examination workload.
