Ranveer Singh's film Dhurandhar 2 continues to break box office records, grossing ₹1,653.67 crore (approximately $178 million) globally, making it the 10th highest-grossing film worldwide in 2026. Despite a recent decline in domestic collections, where it earned ₹9.46 crore on Wednesday, its total domestic gross stands at ₹1,246.67 crore. The film recorded a 13% occupancy across 13,093 shows in India. Dhurandhar 2 is now competing with Pushpa 2: The Rule, which has a lifetime worldwide collection of ₹1,742.10 crore, to potentially become the third highest-grossing Indian film ever. Notably, Dhurandhar 2 has achieved these impressive figures without a release in China, unlike Pushpa 2. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film features a star-studded cast including R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Deepika Padukone, who recently defended her support for Singh amidst online criticism.
