The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced changes to the JEE Main 2026 examination schedule and venues due to multiple factors. The ongoing conflict in West Asia has prompted candidates to request safer examination centres, leading NTA to accommodate these requests. Additionally, the exams originally scheduled for April 5 coincided with Easter celebrations, prompting further rescheduling. NTA also collaborated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to prevent clashes with Class XII board exams, allowing students to fill in their CBSE registration details during the application process. To ensure a smooth examination process, NTA will implement security measures, including jammers and AI-based video analytics at exam centres. Candidates can download their admit cards for the exams scheduled from April 5 to 8, 2026, from the official NTA website using their login credentials.
