The Artemis II crew, consisting of NASA commander Reid Wiseman, pilot Victor Glover, mission specialist Christina Koch, and Canadian Space Agency mission specialist Jeremy Hansen, is on a 10-day journey around the Moon. The Orion spacecraft has achieved a remarkable milestone, reaching a distance of 252,756 miles (406,771 km) from Earth, the furthest ever traveled by humans. As the crew returns, they are moving at speeds exceeding 1,700 miles per hour.
