In the fourth quarter of FY26, Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL) reported a 5% increase in refined metal production, reaching 282,000 tonnes, while mined metal output rose by 2% to 315,000 tonnes. Despite these gains, silver production saw a slight decline of 0.2%, totaling 176 tonnes, compared to 177 tonnes in the same period last year. Additionally, the company's wind power generation fell by 11% to 56 million units from 63 million units in the previous year. HZL, recognized as the world's largest integrated zinc producer, holds a significant 75% market share in India's primary zinc market and supplies to over 40 countries.
