In a video message shared on X, Chadha dismissed allegations regarding his participation in Opposition protests and his supposed refusal to support an impeachment motion against the Chief Election Commissioner. He challenged the party to provide evidence for their claims, asserting that they were selective and aimed at discrediting his performance as a representative for Punjab and Delhi. Chadha pointed out that he was never asked to sign the impeachment motion and noted that several other AAP MPs also did not sign it. He defended his parliamentary record, highlighting his focus on critical issues such as Punjab's water crisis and pollution in Delhi. Concluding his message, he warned that those behind the campaign against him would be exposed, stating, 'I am wounded that's why I am dangerous.' This incident follows AAP's formal decision to appoint Ashok Mittal as the new deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha.
