Directed by Anshul Kumar Sharma, the film is inspired by true events and centers on a small-town computer prodigy in Mumbai who channels personal disappointment into a bold digital act that captures global attention. Ajay Devgn, Chairman of Lens Vault Studios, stated that the studio aims to explore innovative storytelling formats that resonate with contemporary audiences. Adittya Kappadia, who plays the lead role of Joshi, shared his excitement on Instagram about portraying the character, noting the film's themes of breaking points and global impact. Danish Devgn, the studio's Founder and CEO, highlighted the film's blend of reality and technology, aiming to push creative boundaries. 'Happy Birthday Joshi' will be available for viewing across digital platforms starting April 2, 2026.
